FREE Hugs - My Guerilla Marketing!

I sell printing for a living, but the hugs are FREE!  Because I LOVE TO HUG - I've incorporated it as part of my guerrilla marketing, although I don't hug everyone.  I exercise Proper Hug Etiquette and yet find it amazing, when I'm set up at a local market or tradeshow with my FREE HUGS sign posted, how many people stop for a hug.  Some folks are in sheer disbelief that someone would want to share a hug with them.  Others stop by because it's FREE!

With every hug I give them a Hug Prescription Card that includes the Daily Hug Prescription and Proper Hug Etiquette on the back with a link to our Hugs 4 Health facebook page.

My goal is to connect with other huggers.  I post on the Facebook page when and where I'll be sharing hugs.  Like and Share if you are a hugger and join me in making a difference one hug at a time!

Hugs to you,

It's National Hug Holiday Week - May 3-9, 2015

The hug.  A simple, yet profound gesture that when shared makes a significant impact on one's overall well-being.  A hug can dispel loneliness, reduce blood pressure and ease depression.  It is no less than a miracle drug with countless benefits and yet, people don't share enough hugs.

National Hug Holiday was originally launched to support folks with eating disorders.  In 1989 it was passed onto the Hugs for Health Foundation to further efforts to increase awareness of the need for hugs, fellowship and volunteer support for the elderly in senior care and residential communities.  A monumental need today and an issue I hope to one day address again.

In the meantime, National Hug Holiday Week is celebrated to increase hug abundance on the planet and make a difference one hug at a time.  Huggers across the country and around the world are encouraged to share hugs and fill their daily hug prescription and in doing so help others to fill theirs.

Join in the celebration!  Share hugs with your loved ones throughout the week and beyond.

If you're really an enthusiastic hugger - let the world know you hug and order one of our hug t-shirts.  You'll be amazed how many huggers you'll attract when you wear one!

Happy Hugging-

FREE HUGS Booth huge success at Health Expo

Since my last posting, hosted a FREE HUGS Booth at the annual Seal Beach Be More Healthy Expo in March.  Recruited four volunteer huggers - Joanne Lench, Ashley Villarama, Laura Ellsworth and Yaseng Yann to serve as Official Huggers at the expo.  The gals shared hugs and distributed Daily Hug Prescriptions to exhibitors and attendees throughout the day.

To kick off the educational presentations during the expo, I had the opportunity to give my Reader's Digest Condensed Version of my Hugs for Your Health presentation and entitled it Have you had your hugs today?

In my presentation I shared the Daily Hug Prescription:

Encouraged everyone to follow Proper Hug Etiquette aka the Rules to safe hugging:

And with the help of the Official Huggers demonstrated seven different types of hugs:

Needless to say it was a HUGE success and we had a great time sharing hugs!
